Our freshly serviced cameras are among the finest you’ll ever find and all of them are ready to be put to use. These cameras are acquired in Europe where we’re always on the hunt for the most exquisite vintage cameras from the 1930’s and 1940’s. Once we’ve acquired one, we inspect and service it very carefully. Most of our cameras are approximately 80 years old, and as you can imagine, this work requires an enormous amount of time, care, patience and expertise to disassemble, inspect, clean, lubricate, reassemble and properly adjust it. It also requires an inventory of original parts on occasion. All of these resources are utilized in each and every camera that leaves our shop. Additionally when you purchase a camera from us, we always give it a final quality control check just prior to mailing it to you. Despite our best efforts if a malfunction should occur, we offer customer assistance to help you. We’ll answer specific questions via email and where necessary we’ll walk you through an issue. Our experience has revealed that often a perceived “problem” is due to operator error. Photography has changed a lot since these cameras were produced and some modern users are not familiar with the designs and features of their particular camera. We don’t offer an extensive guarantee but if your camera develops a problem within 30 days, just return it to us and naturally we’ll repair/adjust it and mail it back to you free of charge. (This does not apply to dropped, damaged or abused items.)
