SUPERB! Plaubel Wide Angle lens. The rare Orthar lens. Fits Plaubel Makina III, medium format coupled Rangefinder camera.

This is a hard to find Plaubel Orthar f6.8 / 73mm wide angle lens, designed to fit the Plaubel Makina prewar IIs and postwar III & IIIr medium format cameras. These were expensive professional rangefinder cameras which accepted interchangeable lenses and were advertised as being the “Rolls Royce of cameras”.

The lens is in superb condition. The glass looks virtually like new. It’s clean and clear and there are no scratches or cleaning marks. It comes complete with an original lens cap and what appears to be an original brown leather case. Everything in wonderful condition.

All in all, a great addition for your Plaubel Makina.
