1933 Voigtlander folder with Heliar

This is the Voigtlander folding camera which was produced for only a short period from 1931 to late 1932/early 1933. Voigtlander produced many high end, high quality cameras but they also produced less expensive models. It’s notable, that even when a particular model was somewhat budget oriented they still gave photographers the option of ordering it with  very high quality lenses. This is one of those cameras, it’s  a fairly simple 6x9 folder but it’s fitted with a legendary 4.5/105mm Voigtlander Heliar lens mounted in a Compur shutter.

These photos produced with a 1933 version with a Heliar lens which we serviced and sold. The owner hails from New York and he was kind enough to share his photos with us.  Copyright 2016 Ray Vickers. All rights reserved.
