The chrome finish is beautiful and the glass is excellent. This is an outstanding lens when you want a bit more contrast and a brighter color rendition than an uncoated lens can provide without having to spend a small fortune for the later (and expensive) “red scale” coated Elmar version. The glass is clean and clear.
